Funday Sweets Launches “Better-for-You” Chocolate Line Next Week

UPDATE: Funday Natural Sweets is poised to transform the confectionery market with the launch of its first “better-for-you” chocolate range, debuting on February 9, 2024. This innovative lineup responds directly to customer demand for healthier chocolate options, expanding the brand’s already popular portfolio of natural sweets.

Founded by Daniel Kitay in May 2020, the Melbourne-based company has seen explosive growth, achieving over $100 million in retail sales and selling a product every 1.3 seconds. With chocolates now joining their lineup, Funday aims to satisfy the cravings of their 200,000 loyal customers.

The new chocolate range includes an enticing selection: milk chocolate raspberry bullets, milk chocolate banana bites, white chocolate raspberry bullets, and dark chocolate strawberry bites. All products will be available in major retailers like Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse, as well as independent grocers across Australia.

“It’s a market-led decision that the business has undertaken,” Kitay stated, highlighting the importance of customer feedback in shaping the new offerings.

Funday’s chocolates are crafted without added sugar or sugar alcohols, ensuring they are gluten-free and enriched with prebiotic fiber, maintaining the brand’s commitment to healthier choices. The chocolate was developed in-house at Funday’s dedicated “lolly lab,” showcasing the brand’s innovative approach.

This launch comes after extensive research and customer engagement, as Funday sought to diversify its product line beyond gummies and lollipops. Kitay emphasized the brand’s mission: to help people enjoy confections like children again while prioritizing nutritional values.

Currently, Funday operates in more than 7,000 stores across Australia and New Zealand, and Kitay believes the company has significant room for growth. “We’ve barely scratched the surface in terms of the people and consumers that know about us,” he said, expressing ambition to capture more market share and reach millions more consumers.

As the launch date approaches, Funday’s team is focused on preparations to ensure a successful rollout. With rising consumer interest in healthier options, Funday’s entry into the chocolate market could reshape not only its future but also the broader confectionery landscape.

For those looking to indulge guilt-free, Funday’s new chocolate line promises to deliver a delectable taste experience without compromising on health. Mark your calendars for February 9 and get ready to enjoy these exciting new treats!
