Jessica Brown Named Australia’s Pharmacy Assistant of the Year 2025

BREAKING: In a stunning announcement, Jessica Brown from Emerald Village Pharmacy in Melbourne has been crowned Australia’s Pharmacy Assistant of the Year (PATY) 2025. The prestigious award was presented during a vibrant evening event on December 1, 2025, at Sydney’s iconic harbour as part of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s annual conference, Pharmacy Connect.

The PATY award recognizes extraordinary pharmacy assistants who exhibit exceptional leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient care within their communities. Brown stood out among finalists from across the nation, earning accolades for her dedication and expertise.

According to Professor Trent Twomey, National President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, “This award was the culmination of months of preparation and competition.” He emphasized that finalists underwent rigorous assessments evaluating their skills and contributions to the pharmacy sector.

The judging panel, including Artie Kalogeropoulos and Daniel Shalhoub from AFT Pharmaceuticals, praised the exceptional quality of this year’s finalists. “Selecting a winner gets harder each year,” Shalhoub commented. “Jessica truly embodies what the PATY award represents. Congratulations to Jessica on this well-deserved recognition.”
