Trump Calls Marjorie Taylor Greene ‘Traitor’ Amid Epstein File Push

UPDATE: Tensions escalate within the Republican Party as former President Donald Trump labels Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene a “traitor” over her calls for the release of Epstein documents. Greene, a prominent MAGA supporter, claims she is facing safety threats following Trump’s withdrawal of support.

In a heated exchange on social media, Trump declared, “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!” His comments come as Greene amplifies her demands for complete transparency regarding the documents linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union on November 16, 2025, Greene expressed her continued support for Trump but criticized his stance on the Epstein files, saying, “That is so extremely wrong and can radicalize people against me.”

Greene’s push for transparency resonates with many conservatives, and she argues that the victims of Epstein deserve the truth. “I have no idea what’s in the Epstein files, but they are the ones asking for them to be released,” she stated. In response to Trump’s derogatory remarks, Greene emphasized her loyalty: “I stood with President Trump when almost no one else would. I campaigned for him all over this country and spent millions of my own dollars helping him get elected.”

The growing rift within the party is underscored by Greene’s concerns about safety following Trump’s accusations. She stated, “Those types of words… put my life in danger.” Greene also mentioned that Trump’s rhetoric “only divides our country even more,” highlighting a potential fracture among GOP supporters.

As the U.S. House of Representatives prepares to vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act this week, the atmosphere is charged with anticipation. Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, a co-sponsor of the bill, revealed on ABC News that as many as 100 GOP members may support the release of the Epstein files.

Amid the political turmoil, Greene remains steadfast in her mission for transparency. “Survivors deserve the truth, and I won’t apologize for standing with them,” she asserted. As this story develops, all eyes will be on the upcoming vote and whether the calls for transparency will be answered.

Stay tuned for updates as the situation unfolds and the implications for the GOP become clearer.
