A man has been arrested following an incident in which a crossbow was discharged at police officers in Eltham. The event unfolded on October 25, 2023, around 1:40 PM, when officers responded to reports of a man reportedly armed with a crossbow exhibiting erratic behavior at a residential address on Reynolds Road.
Upon arrival, police attempted to establish contact with the man but were unsuccessful. Officers subsequently cordoned off the area to ensure public safety. It is alleged that the man exited the property through the back door and fired the crossbow at two police officers.
