Hattie B’s Expands in Austin with New Location, Eyes More Outposts

UPDATE: Hattie B’s Hot Chicken has officially launched its second Austin location, marking a significant expansion just two years after its initial debut in the city. The new restaurant opened last month at 3100 Esperanza Crossing, Suite 130, in Domain Northside, a hotspot for food lovers.

For those ready to test their spice tolerance, Hattie B’s offers a wide range of flavor profiles, from the mild “Not Spicy” Southern Style to the daring ghost-pepper-infused Shut the Cluck Up. Diners can also enjoy the Damn Hot habanero option and other heat levels designed for every enthusiast. The vibrant atmosphere at Domain Northside has captured the attention of co-founder Nick Bishop Jr., who shared, “We love the energy, the crowd, the food scene—it all lines up with what we’re about,” according to CultureMap Austin.

But that’s not all! Hattie B’s is actively seeking to further its footprint in Austin. Reports from the Austin Business Journal indicate that the restaurant is scouting locations for two or even three additional outposts in the area. This ambitious plan showcases Hattie B’s commitment to becoming a staple in Austin’s dynamic culinary scene.

In addition to its signature Hot Chicken, the menu features enticing Snack & Share options like Dirty Bird Fries with pimento mac, Fried Pickles, and Waffles. Beverage options include cocktails such as the Pain Killer, made with spiced rum and tropical flavors, perfect for cooling down after a bite of the fiery Shut the Cluck Up Chicken.

While inquiries about future plans were directed to Chief Development Officer Dave Oster, he was unavailable for immediate comment. However, the buzz around Hattie B’s expansion is palpable, and food lovers are encouraged to follow the restaurant on Instagram at @hattiebs to stay updated on the latest developments.

With its vibrant flavors and community-focused approach, Hattie B’s is set to become a culinary beacon in Austin. Don’t miss out on the excitement—head over to the new location today!
