Q2 Metals Corp. has announced significant results from its ongoing 2025 drill program at the Cisco Lithium Project in Quebec, Canada. The latest findings reveal multiple wide, mineralized intercepts, including notable intervals of 95.1 metres and 81.9 metres each grading 1.56% Li2O. This highlights the potential of the project as the company aims to establish an initial inferred Mineral Resource Estimate by the first quarter of 2026.
The recent drilling results stem from four drill holes that have delivered strong analytical outcomes. Specifically, drill hole CS25-040 yielded twelve separate intervals, reporting significant lengths of mineralization at various grades. Similarly, drill hole CS25-041 contained seven intervals with grades reaching up to 1.53% Li2O. Drill hole CS25-042 and CS25-043 also reported multiple intervals with promising grades, indicating the consistency of the mineralized zone.
Neil McCallum, Vice President of Exploration for Q2 Metals, stated, “The recent infill drilling results further demonstrate the consistency and robustness of the Mineralized Zone at the Cisco Lithium Project.” He mentioned the company’s strategic approach of tightening drill spacing to an average of 125 metres as they prepare for their initial inferred Mineral Resource Estimate. As of now, a total of 27,295 metres have been completed across 67 drill holes.
The analytical results reported encompass 2,211.7 metres of drilling, with assays pending for more than twenty additional drill holes, including CS25-044, which intercepted an impressive 457.4 metres of continuous spodumene pegmatite. This ongoing campaign is crucial for supporting Q2’s objective to delineate a substantial lithium resource.
Exploration Target and Future Plans
The current drilling campaign focuses on infill-scale drilling within a defined mineralized zone, which was estimated in July 2025 to contain between 215 to 329 million tonnes of potential lithium mineralization, with grades ranging from 1.0 to 1.38% Li2O. It is important to note that this Exploration Target is a preliminary assessment based on the first forty holes drilled and should not be considered a mineral resource or reserve.
