Tribeca Coffee Co. Expands to Mississauga with New Location

Tribeca Coffee Co., known for its distinct “New York cafe experience,” is set to open a new location in Port Credit, Mississauga, at 285 Lakeshore Road East. This new café will be the brand’s third site, moving into the space previously occupied by Chou Chou Cheri, a lingerie boutique that relocated to Oakville in early 2025.

While an exact opening date has not been publicly confirmed, preparations for a soft launch are actively underway. Construction is progressing following recent permit approvals, with franchise owner Brynne Read leading the initiative. Read expressed optimism about opening the new location as early as mid-September, depending on the outcome of final inspections.

Building on a Growing Brand

The first Tribeca Coffee Co. opened in downtown Oakville in 2016, followed by a second location in Burlington in 2023. Both cafes have garnered a loyal customer base, thanks to their urban-inspired ambiance and commitment to high-quality coffee. The Port Credit site represents the brand’s inaugural venture into Mississauga, a city characterized by vibrant community dynamics and ongoing residential development.

Tribeca Coffee Co. aims to replicate the successful elements of its existing locations in Port Credit. Customers can look forward to a diverse menu that includes specialty espresso drinks, wellness beverages, pastries, and fresh sandwiches. Additionally, the café plans to offer merchandise, such as coffee beans and brewing equipment, appealing to both casual visitors and coffee enthusiasts.

Community Focus in a Prime Location

The choice of Port Credit for this expansion is strategic, given the area’s significant foot traffic and proximity to the waterfront. The ongoing development in the vicinity enhances the appeal of this location for community-driven retail and dining experiences.

While the Oakville location features a Wallflower Doughnuts micro-bakery, it remains unconfirmed whether such an addition will be part of the Mississauga offering. Regardless, the new café is poised to become a popular destination for both locals and visitors in Port Credit.

As Tribeca Coffee Co. prepares to open its doors, the brand continues to highlight its mission to foster community connections and provide exceptional coffee experiences. With this new location, Tribeca Coffee Co. is set to further expand its influence in the Greater Toronto Area’s café landscape.
