HealthScreen has launched its most advanced preventative health facility in Sydney on November 18, 2025. This new location aims to expand the organization’s services following a surge in demand observed at its flagship centre in Melbourne. The facility combines cutting-edge technology such as multi-modal imaging, genetics, biomarker analysis, and AI-enabled diagnostics to facilitate the early detection of diseases and support personalized health management.
The Sydney facility operates on a one-day assessment model, which includes AI-assisted MRI screening sequences, genetic testing, and a comprehensive diagnostic panel. The panel evaluates over 100 biomarkers across 50 medical categories, enabling the identification of early indicators for more than 1,000 diseases. This integrated approach provides insights that are often not available through traditional health assessments.
Insights from Health Leaders
The official launch included discussions featuring prominent figures in the medical field. Among them were Professor Greg Hunt, former Federal Minister for Health; Dr David Badov, Founder and Medical Director of HealthScreen; Dr Nick Coatsworth, former Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Australia; Dr Gwen Tan from Gutlinx; and Zoë Milgrom of Eugene Labs. These experts addressed the latest trends in precision diagnostics, microbiome science, and the growing demand for tailored executive and preventative health solutions.
Dr David Badov emphasized the significance of the new facility, stating, “Preventative medicine has shifted dramatically over the past decade. By combining MRI technology, advanced imaging, genetics, and biomarker testing, we can detect potential health concerns far earlier. Our goal is to provide individuals with clarity, confidence, and an actionable plan for their long-term health.”
Meanwhile, Professor Greg Hunt noted that the facility’s opening aligns with a national priority for early disease detection. He remarked, “Advanced preventative screening has enormous potential to reduce the burden of chronic disease. HealthScreen’s work in this space is innovative and has the capacity to improve outcomes for individuals and, ultimately, the health system.”
Facility Features and Patient Experience
Located in Haymarket, the new Sydney facility is equipped with a purpose-built MRI suite, diagnostic testing rooms, and dedicated consulting spaces. These features are designed to provide a seamless “single-day assessment” experience for patients.
Dr Nick Coatsworth highlighted the growing interest among Australians in personalized health insights. “People want deeper understanding of their future health trajectory. This model brings together the technology and clinical expertise required to deliver that clarity,” he said.
HealthScreen Sydney is now open and welcoming new patients, offering an opportunity for individuals to take proactive steps towards their health. For more information, visit https://healthscreen.com.au/.
