An interactive action game, known as Prison Island, is set to make its debut in Perth this summer. This immersive experience has garnered popularity across Europe and the eastern coast of Australia, and now it will be available at Milligan Street starting in late January 2026.
The 90-minute challenge is designed for teams of two to five players. Participants will navigate through more than 30 distinct challenge “cells”, each offering a unique mission that combines logic puzzles, physical tests, and reflex challenges. Players can expect to solve colour puzzles, dodge laser beams, and tackle various obstacle courses throughout their quest.
Mikael Bouteillon, the founder of Prison Island, expressed enthusiasm about bringing this concept to Western Australia. He stated, “Bringing Prison Island to Perth has been a long-time ambition. We’ve seen how much Australians love the concept on the East Coast, and we can’t wait for WA to take it to the next level. The Perth audience is competitive, energetic and up for a challenge – it’s the perfect match.”
Teams are encouraged to leverage a diverse set of skills to climb the leaderboard, competing for the title of the fastest group to escape from the immersive environment. The game emphasizes teamwork, quick thinking, and strong communication skills, making it a thrilling option for friends, families, or corporate teams looking for a unique bonding experience.
With its blend of excitement and strategy, Prison Island promises to deliver a memorable adventure for players in Perth. For more information about this upcoming event, visit prisonislandexperience.com.
