URGENT UPDATE: The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) is confirmed to take place in Beijing from June 22 to 26, 2026. This major event is already attracting significant interest, with over 300 companies registered to exhibit, signaling a robust push for international collaboration in supply chains.
In recent days, a delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) has been actively engaging with global partners to enhance preparations for the Expo. From November 30 to December 2, Chinese business leaders visited Canada, where they presented the upcoming Expo to over 150 government and corporate executives. This meeting emphasized opportunities in advanced manufacturing, digital technology, and clean energy.
Following the successful engagement in Canada, the CCPIT delegation traveled to the United States. On December 4, Ren Hongbin, CCPIT President, addressed a forum in Washington, D.C., titled “From Policy to Partnership: APEC 2026 – Unlocking Trade and Investment Potential.” He highlighted the mutual benefits of strengthening U.S.-China trade relations, noting that American attendees expressed considerable interest in enhancing supply chain connections with China.
The CCPIT’s outreach continued with a networking event in Oakland, California, on December 5. Here, the focus was on emerging sectors, including digital technology and artificial intelligence, exploring innovative collaboration within the two countries’ industrial frameworks. A dedicated presentation on the CISCE was also delivered, further solidifying the Expo’s role as a vital platform for international cooperation.
The CCPIT remains committed to high standards in preparations for the Expo, aligning with the strategic objectives of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan. The organization states it will continue to foster practical cooperation and promote long-term development in bilateral economic ties.
As preparations ramp up, the Expo is poised to catalyze significant advancements in global supply chains. For the latest updates on the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo, visit https://en.cisce.org.cn/.
