ViewQwest Appoints Peter Molloy as Chief Growth Officer Today

URGENT UPDATE: ViewQwest has just announced the appointment of Peter Molloy as the new Chief Growth Officer (CGO), a pivotal move aimed at accelerating the company’s enterprise expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. This development will significantly enhance ViewQwest’s capabilities to deliver next-generation network and security services.

The announcement was made earlier today, August 20, 2025, at the company’s headquarters in Singapore. Peter Molloy will lead the Group Enterprise Business, reporting directly to CEO Vignesa Moorthy. His appointment is set against a backdrop of impressive growth for ViewQwest, including successful entries into Hong Kong and ongoing large enterprise project wins throughout the region.

This strategic hire comes as ViewQwest aims to solidify its position in a competitive market, where agility and innovation are crucial. “Peter’s arrival marks a step-change in our growth journey as we continue to challenge conventions,” said Vignesa Moorthy. This statement underscores the urgency of the company’s mission to enhance its service offerings amid growing competition.

Peter Molloy brings over 25 years of leadership experience in enterprise technology sales, having worked with industry giants like Cisco and Palo Alto Networks. His extensive background includes building high-performance teams and delivering innovative solutions across the Asia Pacific, Japan, and China regions. Before entering the corporate sector, Molloy served for 12 years in the Australian Army, which instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and strategic leadership.

“I’m excited to join ViewQwest at such a defining moment,” Molloy stated. He aims to build on the company’s current momentum by expanding its enterprise business and launching new solutions tailored for the evolving needs of clients across the Asia-Pacific. This highlights a significant shift in management focus that could lead to enhanced services for customers.

ViewQwest’s decision to appoint Molloy as CGO is part of a broader strategy to capture the immense opportunities within the telecommunications sector, particularly in the enterprise space. As Molloy concentrates on growing the enterprise division, Benjamin Tan, the Chief Commercial Officer, will intensify his focus on scaling the Wholesale Business. This dual approach positions ViewQwest to strengthen its international connectivity and enhance its services for telcos, OTTs, hyperscalers, and global carriers.

The company is poised for substantial growth, and Molloy’s proven track record in the industry makes him an ideal leader for this mission. “Together, the strengthened leadership team positions ViewQwest to capture the immense opportunities ahead,” Moorthy concluded, emphasizing the urgency of the initiative.

ViewQwest’s strategic moves underscore its commitment to becoming the preferred network and security partner in the region. As this story develops, all eyes will be on how Molloy’s leadership will transform the enterprise landscape in the Asia-Pacific market.

Stay tuned for more updates on this significant development in the telecommunications sector.
