Malaysia has inaugurated the Smart Nation Expo 2025, a significant event aimed at showcasing the nation’s digital transformation and technological advancements. The expo, which runs from **November 18 to 20, 2025**, at the **Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC)** in **Kuala Lumpur**, has attracted over **300 global companies** and is expected to draw more than **21,000 industry professionals**.
During the opening ceremony on **November 18**, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, **YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof**, delivered an impactful address, underscoring the country’s ambition to lead in the digital economy. “Our national digital initiatives align seamlessly with the themes of this expo—Driving Digitalisation Towards a Smart Economy. We aim to position Malaysia as a regional leader in the digital economy, fostering an ecosystem that encourages innovation, investment, and collaboration,” he stated.
The expo’s Chairman, **Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Hj.
