Corazon Mining Advances Gascoyne Gold Project with New Tenure

Corazon Mining has received formal approval for its two core tenements at the Two Pools gold project in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. This significant milestone, granted by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS), enables the company to proceed with extensive on-ground activities. With plans for a diamond drilling program set to commence in early 2026, Corazon is actively engaging with drill contractors and finalizing preparations for the upcoming project.

The company has expedited the heritage clearance process following a cooperative agreement with the Gingirana people, facilitated through the Marputu Aboriginal Corporation. Drilling will begin once all final approvals are in place. The initial phase of diamond core drilling aims to replicate some of the highest historical gold intercepts to confirm previous explorers’ findings. This includes assessing the orientation of mineralized structures, crucial for targeting further extensions of known deposits.

Among the standout historical results Corazon is eager to validate are three impressive intercepts from AIC Resources’ 2018 drilling at Two Pools. Notably, one hole recorded a remarkable *12 meters assaying 8.89 g/t gold* from a depth of 79 meters, including *3 meters at 34.25 g/t gold*. A second hole revealed *18 meters at 3.89 g/t gold* from 83 meters, with *4 meters running at 15.96 g/t gold*, while a third hole produced an outstanding *1 meter at 52.24 g/t gold* included in an *8-meter intercept at 7.83 g/t gold* from 66 meters.

Strategic Planning for Further Exploration

Corazon is also advancing plans for follow-up reverse-circulation drilling to explore along-strike extensions and new targets identified through recent geophysical reprocessing. The Two Pools project is strategically located just *60 kilometers northeast of Catalyst Metals’ under-utilized Plutonic mill*, which lies within the recognized northeastern extension of the Plutonic-Marymia greenstone belt, an area known for producing over *six million ounces of gold*.

This project shares notable geological features with Catalyst Metals’ high-grade Trident deposit, where gold-bearing greenstones are situated beneath a thin layer of older granite. With the heritage survey progressing swiftly and a diamond drilling program designed to substantiate previous high-grade results, Corazon is preparing for a proactive start to the new year in this promising gold region.

Following a swift operational reset, Corazon Mining has secured its Two Pools tenure, established a key native title partnership, and booked drilling rigs, effectively assembling all necessary components to explore what appears to be a genuine high-grade gold system. The Gascoyne region of Western Australia is poised for another potential discovery, highlighting its significance in the gold exploration landscape.
