Dishdash Restaurant Group has announced plans to open a new Dish N Dash location in Dublin, California, in early 2026. The restaurant will occupy the site at 4808 Dublin Boulevard, previously home to Applebee’s Bar + Grill, which closed in June 2023. This new establishment will be situated near popular chains such as Five Guys, Jamba Juice, and Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar.
Founder Nadiah Mshasha shared insights into the decision to expand into Dublin, noting that many family members have relocated to the Tri-Valley area. They highlighted a growing demand for an upscale fast-casual Middle Eastern dining option amid the existing fast food landscape. Mshasha stated, “Over the years, as many of our family members have moved toward Dublin and the Tri-Valley area, they have mentioned the opportunity for an upscale fast casual Middle Eastern establishment amongst the existing fast food options.”
The restaurant aims to cater to a diverse community, offering high-quality, authentic Middle Eastern food. Mshasha emphasized that the Dublin and Tri-Valley area reflects many characteristics of their existing clientele in Silicon Valley: “ethnically diverse, busy individuals and families looking for high-quality, easily accessible, authentic Middle Eastern food and companies seeking professional, consistent, customizable, and fresh catering options.”
Since its inception in 2001 in Sunnyvale, Dish N Dash has expanded to five locations across the Silicon Valley region, including San Jose, Milpitas, Cupertino, and Fremont. The fast-casual chain is known for its commitment to fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch dishes. Menu highlights include hummus, falafel, pita bread, and kibbeh—a bulghur shell filled with ground lamb and other fillings—prepared on-site rather than using frozen or canned alternatives.
As the opening date approaches, Mshasha has indicated that further details about the new location will be shared in due course. The Dish N Dash establishment in Dublin is scheduled to welcome customers during the first quarter of 2026.
