Escondido Tex-Mex Patio, a well-regarded dining establishment in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is set to open its second location on Greenville Avenue in summer 2026. According to the Dallas Business Journal, the new venue will occupy a dedicated 3,000 square feet and is located at 3519 Greenville Avenue, in the space previously occupied by Blue Fish Sushi.
Owner Jon Alexis expressed enthusiasm about the new location, highlighting the electric atmosphere of Greenville Avenue. “We can’t wait to bring Escondido to one of our favorite dining districts,” he stated in a press release provided to What Now Dallas. Alexis is no stranger to the Dallas dining scene, having established several successful venues, including TJ’s Seafood Market & Grill, Birdie’s Eastside, Ramble Room, and Malibu Poke.
The upcoming Escondido location is expected to attract food enthusiasts with its appealing offerings. Notably, the restaurant will feature a lively bar, an upscale dining room, and a climate-controlled patio. Additionally, it will boast one of Greenville’s largest private parking lots, making it convenient for diners.
Escondido Tex-Mex Patio has garnered significant recognition over the years. The Dallas Observer has ranked it among the 12 Best Tex-Mex Restaurants and one of the 12 Essential Restaurants in North Dallas. Moreover, it has received accolades for its Best Queso and is celebrated for having one of the Best Patios, according to Dallasites 101.
