Emergency Services Bring Santa to Casino This Weekend!

UPDATE: Emergency services are gearing up to deliver Santa Claus to the streets of Casino in an exciting annual event happening this weekend! The 2025 Emergency Services Santa Run is set for Sunday, December 14 and will continue on Friday, December 19, bringing festive cheer to the community.

This event marks the fifth year that local volunteer emergency services have collaborated to spread holiday joy. Crews from the NSW SES, RFS, and the Casino VRA Rescue Squad will escort Santa through town, ensuring children and families can enjoy this cherished tradition.

Casino SES reports that special moments are expected throughout the run, including children handing Santa their handwritten letters filled with holiday wishes. Last year, volunteers distributed over 400 lollipops and candy canes, making the experience even sweeter for young attendees.

For those eager to catch a glimpse of Santa, detailed route maps will be available on the NSW SES Casino Unit Facebook page as the event dates approach. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to engage with local emergency services while celebrating the spirit of Christmas.

Don’t miss your chance to participate in this heartwarming event. The joy and excitement of seeing Santa in person create lasting memories for the community, uniting everyone in festive spirit.

Stay tuned for more updates as the Santa Run draws closer, and prepare to celebrate the season with your neighbors in Casino!
