Elizabeth Hurley Celebrates Supportive Summer with Billy Ray Cyrus

Elizabeth Hurley has expressed her joy over her relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus, describing him as “very supportive.” The 60-year-old model and actress went public with her romance with the 64-year-old musician earlier this year. They have spent a relaxed summer together, during which they have adopted two tortoises and engaged in various activities, including birdwatching.

In an interview with *The Mirror*, Hurley shared, “Billy and I have had most of the summer off. We’ve seen both his daughters [Miley and Noah] play in London, which was great. He’s very supportive and that feels nice.” She added, “We’ve adopted two tortoises, and I have become something of a bird watcher. We’ve just seen some goshawks. They’re unbelievable. Very, very rare. There are only 1,000 nesting pairs in the UK.”

Their relationship blossomed after they met while filming the 2022 movie *Christmas in Paradise*. Cyrus previously revealed that he first noticed Hurley during a few shared scenes, which sparked a connection. “We did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene there was a chemistry there,” he said during an appearance on *The Ty Bentli Show*.

Cyrus reflected on the feeling of laughter they shared, stating, “We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot.” He noted that despite their apparent differences, they discovered they had much in common. “If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton,” he added, praising Hurley’s intelligence as a businesswoman.

The couple lost touch for a couple of years, but Cyrus appreciated Hurley’s supportive message during a challenging period after his marriage to Firerose ended. He recalled, “I felt like: ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?’ For me, at a certain point it was like, you can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you.” He described the impact of Hurley’s outreach as significant during that difficult time.

In a light-hearted moment, Hurley remarked, “I have a really interesting life. Wild. Parties every night,” showcasing her upbeat personality. As they continue to share experiences together, their relationship appears to be flourishing, marked by mutual support and shared interests.
