Durango Casino & Resort Launches $385 Million Expansion Project

Durango Casino & Resort has officially commenced construction on the third phase of its expansion, a significant step in the establishment’s long-term development strategy. Located in southwest Las Vegas, this expansion will add approximately 275,000 square feet to the resort, enhancing its offerings with new gaming, dining, entertainment, and recreational amenities.

The new phase follows the successful launch of the resort’s Phase II south expansion, which introduced over 25,000 square feet of casino space. This included a new high-limit slot room, bar, and a covered parking structure. The upcoming expansion is set to feature an expanded casino floor, incorporating around 400 additional slot machines, a state-of-the-art bowling facility with 36 lanes, luxury movie theaters, and various new restaurant concepts and food hall outlets.

Project Details and Timeline

Construction of the north property expansion is expected to last approximately 18 months, with an estimated budget of $385 million. During this period, all existing resort amenities will remain operational, ensuring minimal disruption to guests. Further details regarding the project will be released in the coming months, providing insights into the exciting developments planned for the resort.

Durango Casino & Resort is strategically positioned at 6915 S Durango Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89148, making it a prime destination for both locals and tourists. The expansion is anticipated to significantly enhance the guest experience, solidifying the resort’s status as a leading entertainment hub in the region.

As construction progresses, the management of Durango Casino & Resort aims to create a vibrant environment that caters to diverse preferences, ensuring that both gaming and non-gaming visitors find ample options to enjoy. The integration of new entertainment venues alongside dining and recreational facilities will likely attract a broader audience, ultimately contributing to the resort’s growth and appeal in the competitive Las Vegas market.
