Christina Haack, the 42-year-old reality television star, is embracing a new chapter in her life following the recent finalization of her divorce from third husband, Josh Hall. In an interview with People magazine, she expressed her gratitude for the lessons learned from her past relationships, stating that she looks forward to making a “fresh start.”
Haack, who previously gained fame as the co-host of Flip or Flop, has experienced significant changes in her personal life. Her divorce from Hall, finalized earlier this year, marks her third separation, having previously married Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead. Reflecting on her journey, she remarked, “I don’t look at it as starting over… That just makes me want to cringe.” Instead, she sees this moment as a chance to take control of her life and make empowered decisions.
While Haack acknowledges that she is still learning and evolving, she emphasized her appreciation for her past mistakes. “I’m still a work in progress,” she noted. Her two children with El Moussa, Taylor, 15, and Brayden, 10, along with her son Hudson, 6, from her marriage to Anstead, have also benefited from improved relationships among their parents. Haack stated, “My relationships with everyone improved, and we have a bigger appreciation for each other.”
New Relationship and Personal Growth
Currently, Haack is in a relationship with Christopher Larocca, whom she has been dating since last year. She emphasized the importance of taking their time, saying, “We’re not even discussing getting married. We’re not discussing getting engaged.” The couple is focused on nurturing their connection without rushing into significant commitments. “We don’t have a timeline,” she added, highlighting Larocca’s busy lifestyle and independent career.
Haack’s journey of self-discovery has also included a candid acknowledgment of her past challenges. Earlier this year, she revealed on social media that she has a “history of co-dependency issues” and has recently recognized her tendency towards anxious attachment. “Things can be challenging and by ‘things’ I mean me,” she wrote, illustrating her commitment to personal growth.
In this period of transformation, Haack has shifted her focus from future anxieties to appreciating the present moment. “I used to be obsessed with the future and what that looked like, but right now there’s a lot of amazing things going on in the present,” she concluded. This perspective might serve as a guiding principle for Haack as she navigates her new beginnings and the evolving dynamics of her family life.
