OPPO Launches Find X9 Series in Australia with 200MP Camera

OPPO has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, set to launch in Australia on November 6, 2023. These devices aim to redefine the premium smartphone market with their advanced camera technology, powerful performance, and impressive battery life.

At the forefront of the Find X9 Series is OPPO’s collaboration with the renowned camera brand, Hasselblad. The Find X9 Pro features a groundbreaking 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto camera, equipped with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and an ultra-fast f/2.1 aperture. This camera integrates Active Optical Alignment technology, ensuring sharper and more detailed images. Alongside it, the Find X9 Pro boasts an upgraded 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT828 sensor with Real-Time Triple Exposure technology, allowing users to capture stunning details in various lighting conditions.

The standard Find X9 model also impresses, featuring a trio of 50MP cameras. This includes a primary Sony LYT808 sensor and a LYT600 periscope telephoto lens. Both models support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR video and offer professional LOG recording with ACES certification, catering to photography and videography enthusiasts.

Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by OPPO’s new Dimensity 9500 3nm chipset, which promises enhanced performance and efficiency. The battery capacities are equally noteworthy, with the Find X9 housing a 7025mAh battery and the Pro version featuring a 7500mAh battery. They also support rapid charging capabilities, including 80W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless flash charging. According to OPPO, these devices can maintain over 80% battery capacity even after five years, thanks to their third-generation silicon-carbon technology.

Design and Durability Specifications

The Find X9 Series showcases a sleek design with premium flat-edge finishes, ultra-thin bezels, and vibrant 120Hz AMOLED displays that peak at 3600 nits. Durability is a key feature, with both models receiving IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for various environments.

Running on ColorOS 16, the series integrates AI-enhanced tools such as AI Mind Space, AI Recorder, and improved cross-device connectivity through O+ Connect. These features add to the overall user experience, facilitating seamless interaction among devices.

Pricing for the Find X9 Pro (16GB + 512GB) is set at $2,299 in Silk White or Titanium Charcoal, while the Find X9 (12GB + 512GB) will retail for $1,799 in Titanium Grey or Space Black. Additionally, OPPO’s online store in Australia will offer an exclusive Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit for $699, further enhancing the photography capabilities of these devices.

With the launch of the Find X9 Series, OPPO is clearly positioning itself as a formidable competitor in Australia’s premium smartphone sector, promising advanced technology and exceptional user experiences to local consumers.
