Early Christmas Cheer Arrives at Sunbury Indoor Market July 25

UPDATE: Christmas cheer is set to arrive early at the Sunbury Indoor Market on July 25, transforming the venue into a festive wonderland from 6 PM to 9 PM. Organizers promise a magical evening filled with fun for the entire family, featuring a special appearance by Santa and his elves.

Market organizer Emma Dwyer shared her excitement about this unique mid-year celebration. “It’s a great little market, with plenty to do and see for the whole family,” she stated. Attendees can look forward to free face painting, an arts and crafts workshop, and photographs with Santa, all designed to spread holiday joy in the middle of summer.

With over 65 stalls offering a variety of goods—from homemade breads and honey to jewelry and knitted items—shoppers will have plenty of options to find unique treasures while supporting local vendors. “Around 75 percent of our stallholders are from Sunbury or the neighboring suburbs,” Dwyer added, highlighting the market’s commitment to boosting the local economy.

New stallholders are always welcome, as Dwyer emphasized the importance of community engagement. “It’s a great network of people,” she noted, inviting others to join in the festivities.

Live music will add to the vibrant atmosphere, featuring a talented young local artist performing both hits and classic tunes. The on-site café will also be open, providing delicious food options for attendees looking to grab a bite.

This special Christmas in July event will take place at the Sunbury Indoor Sports Centre, located at 63 Vineyard Road, Sunbury. Entry is free, and stalls will accept both cash and card payments.
