Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning a visit to Australia, nearly seven years after their last official royal tour in 2018. The couple, who stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California, hinted at their intentions during a recent correspondence with celebrity astrologer Angela Pearl.
In a letter shared by Pearl on social media, Harry and Meghan expressed gratitude for her insights during a meeting in New York last October. They wrote: “Dear Angela, We wanted to thank you for joining us… Your energy and insight were such a welcome addition.” The couple also conveyed their hopes for Pearl’s family in Ukraine, adding, “we look forward to staying in touch, especially as we look to visit Australia again.”
During their initial 16-day tour of Australia and New Zealand in October 2018, the couple announced Meghan’s pregnancy with their first child, Archie, who is now six years old. They later welcomed their daughter, Lilibet, in 2021.
The couple’s upcoming visit is likely to attract significant media attention, given their previous royal engagements and the ongoing interest in their lives following their departure from royal duties.
As preparations for the trip continue, fans and supporters in Australia eagerly await the announcement of specific dates and events. The couple’s return could serve as a platform for their ongoing philanthropic efforts, which have focused on mental health, community support, and social justice issues since their relocation.
While further details about the visit remain under wraps, the anticipation surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan’s return to Australia is palpable, reflecting their enduring connection to the country.
