Police in Sydney’s southwest are urgently seeking assistance in locating a missing teenager. Seventeen-year-old Zaynab Khodr was last seen on Tucker Street in Bankstown around 23:00 on February 6, 2026. The Bankstown Police Area Command has initiated inquiries following reports of her disappearance.

Concerns for Zaynab’s welfare have been heightened as her absence is considered out of character. Officers describe her as having a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, standing between 160cm and 170cm tall, and possessing a thin build. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a silver necklace with a pendant.

Zaynab is known to frequent the Bankstown area, making it crucial for the public to assist in locating her. Any individuals with information regarding her whereabouts are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or via their website at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Authorities assure that all information will be treated confidentially.

The community is reminded not to report details through the social media channels of NSW Police, as this may hinder the investigation. Police and family members remain hopeful for Zaynab’s safe return, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation in such cases.
