Bitget Launches Bold Initiative for Women on International Women’s Day

UPDATE: Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange, has just announced a groundbreaking initiative to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026. Under its Blockchain4Her campaign, Bitget is calling on women to lead the future of Web3, emphasizing that the exclusion of women limits innovation and growth in the blockchain industry.

This urgent campaign poses a critical question: “How can we achieve mass adoption without women?” Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated, “It’s truly the role of bigger players to recognize the capabilities and influence women have, especially in the financial sector.” The initiative underscores gender inclusion as not just a social responsibility, but a commercial necessity for sustainable industry expansion.

As part of the campaign, Bitget is launching a global social media initiative aimed at challenging unconscious bias in Web3. A powerful campaign video will highlight how women are increasingly taking ownership of spaces historically dominated by men, fostering an environment where meaningful progress can thrive.

In an additional move, Bitget will unveil an International Women’s Day Limited Edition Card in partnership with Bitget Wallet. This card, which promotes anti-bias messaging, provides exclusive benefits for users supporting gender diversity in blockchain. Users can utilize the card globally with Mastercard and Visa, available in over 50 countries across Europe, LATAM, and APAC.

Offline engagement is also a key aspect of this initiative. Building on last year’s “Lady Forward” proposition, Bitget will host a series of interactive events across Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, the CIS, and LATAM. These events will serve as safe spaces for women to share experiences, network, and engage in discussions around leadership, finance, and technology.

Activities will include creative workshops such as flower arrangement and pottery, alongside panel discussions featuring women leaders from both Web2 and Web3. Notably, a mini-conference and Iftar dinner will be held in Southeast Asia, reflecting the campaign’s commitment to cultural inclusivity and community dialogue.

Through this initiative, Bitget aims to reshape participation in the crypto space, viewing diversity not as a constraint but as a catalyst for broader adoption and stronger markets.

Bitget, founded in Seychelles, serves over 125 million users and offers access to more than 2 million crypto tokens, 100+ tokenized stocks, and various other assets. The company is also committed to driving crypto adoption through partnerships with organizations like UNICEF, aiming to support blockchain education for 1.1 million people by 2027.

As the campaign unfolds, Bitget encourages industry leaders, builders, and users to share their insights and actionable steps towards a more inclusive future in Web3. This is not just a celebration of women’s achievements; it is a call to action for the entire blockchain industry to acknowledge and embrace the essential role of women in shaping its future.

Given the significance of this campaign, many are expected to join the conversation online, making it a trending topic in the days leading up to International Women’s Day.
