Britt & Taz Slam Online Trolls Targeting The Block’s Sonny & Alicia

UPDATE: In a powerful defense, Western Australian duo Britt and Taz have condemned online trolls relentlessly targeting fellow contestants Sonny and Alicia on the hit reality show The Block. The backlash comes as the show continues to captivate audiences with its intense drama, including cheating scandals and heated conflicts.

With Auction Day approaching, the emotional toll of cyberbullying is reaching critical levels. Taz underscored the impact of such negativity, telling Yahoo! Lifestyle, “Cyberbullying and trolling is one of the very, very big excesses on mental health. It just absolutely takes a toll and deteriorates people.”

Alicia, who has openly shared her struggles with the harsh online commentary, stated, “It’s been tough dealing with the online messages we’ve received.” She emphasized that her outspoken personality has made her a target, asserting, “I’m not a nasty person.”

Despite their differences on the show, Britt and Taz’s solidarity with Sonny and Alicia highlights the urgent need for compassion. Britt added, “We do feel for Sonny and Alicia, who are copping the brunt of it.”

In response to the rising tide of negativity, The Block’s official social media accounts issued a reminder to viewers that the contestants are real people. They warned that any disrespectful comments could lead to being “off The Block.”

As tensions mount, fans are urged to remember that the drama is just part of a reality show. With the stakes high and emotions running even higher, both the cast and viewers are reminded to keep things in perspective.

Catch the latest episodes of The Block on Channel Nine and 9Now. The community must rally against the toxicity of online trolling to ensure the well-being of all participants in this beloved show.
