ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced its latest OLED gaming monitors at CES 2026, showcasing innovative RGB Stripe Pixel OLED technology. This new approach aims to enhance text clarity and visual quality while providing deeper blacks across its premium monitor range. The announcement underscores ASUS ROG’s leadership in the global OLED monitor market, where it maintains a substantial presence among PC gamers.
The focus this year extends beyond just higher refresh rates. ASUS is addressing persistent issues associated with OLED displays, such as text fringing and raised blacks in brightly lit environments. At the forefront of this advancement is the RGB Stripe Pixel OLED technology, which alters the sub-pixel arrangement to a traditional RGB stripe format. According to ASUS, this shift significantly mitigates color fringing around text and intricate user interface elements, thus improving overall clarity for everyday tasks, productivity, and content creation. The technology will debut in both Quantum Dot OLED (QD-OLED) and Tandem OLED panels.
Key Models and Features
Leading the new lineup is the ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN, described by ASUS as the world’s first RGB OLED gaming display. This 34-inch ultrawide monitor boasts a remarkable refresh rate of 360Hz, a rapid response time of 0.03ms, and support for DisplayHDR True Black 500. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 2.1a, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery.
Joining this flagship model is the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS, another 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED model. It features a slightly lower refresh rate of 280Hz and is designed with a more compact stand to accommodate space-constrained setups. For gamers seeking versatility, the 26.5-inch ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM introduces a Tandem RGB OLED panel, allowing users to switch between 4K at 240Hz and Full HD at an impressive 480Hz. ASUS claims this pure RGB design can enhance color volume by up to 27 percent compared to standard WOLED panels.
The company has also updated its popular 32-inch 4K model with the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen 3, incorporating the same RGB advancements while maintaining a 240Hz refresh rate. Across the entire lineup, ASUS is implementing its new BlackShield film, which reportedly increases perceived black levels by up to 40 percent and enhances scratch resistance. Additionally, the monitors come equipped with OLED Care Pro features designed to reduce the risk of burn-in.
As of now, pricing and availability for the Australian market remain unconfirmed, but the advancements presented at CES 2026 position ASUS ROG prominently within the competitive OLED gaming monitor sector.
