Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching and played a pivotal role in developing the club’s junior program.
The farewell included a poignant lap of honour around the main pitch, where a hearse drove along the perimeter as family and friends watched in deep reflection. The tribute served not only as a final salute but also as a recognition of the significant impact Šoša had on the club.

The soccer section of Adelaide Croatia also commemorated his contributions with a heartfelt post, stating, “Yesterday we farewelled a humble champion of our club, Nenad Šoša.
