RMIT Europe has officially partnered with the Disseny Hub Barcelona to enhance design practice research, a collaboration that aims to foster innovation and creativity within the design community. The PRS Europe program, which takes place biannually in May and November, brings together researchers focused on understanding the processes that designers and artists engage in while developing new creative practices. This initiative includes doctoral examinations, candidate presentations, keynote speeches, and a seminar series. These events aim to create an engaging environment for critical reflection and dialogue surrounding creative practice research.
This November, the Disseny Hub Barcelona will host several key events, including the opening ceremony and a keynote panel discussion titled “Reflecting on Design Practice Research,” alongside three PhD examinations. The Disseny Hub is recognized as a significant cultural venue dedicated to design, making it an ideal partner for RMIT Europe in this initiative.
