WW International, Inc., known as Weight Watchers, has launched a new fully integrated platform designed to enhance weight management for users of GLP-1 medications. The initiative aims to combine personalized nutrition, comprehensive coaching, and community support within a redesigned digital experience. This new offering is intended to help members achieve sustainable weight loss and improve their overall health.
The introduction of the GLP-1 Success Program marks a significant step for Weight Watchers, as it responds to the growing interest in GLP-1 medications for weight management. According to Tara Comonte, CEO of Weight Watchers, “As GLP-1 medications become available in more markets, people are increasingly looking for safe, expert guidance and support that fits the way they actually live.” The program provides tailored nutrition guidance, medication tracking tools, and strategies to manage side effects, ensuring that individuals using these medications can maximize their weight loss efforts.
Empowering Members with Innovative Technology
The new digital experience features the Weight Health Score, an evidence-based metric that evaluates daily habits and provides users with a clear understanding of their progress. This score is derived from inputs such as body composition, nutrition, activity levels, and sleep data, integrating information from over 60 connected devices and apps.
Additionally, an AI-Powered Body Scanner enables members to track changes in fat and muscle over time, offering insights that traditional scales may overlook. This tool is particularly beneficial for users navigating weight fluctuations related to GLP-1 medications or other factors such as menopause.
Weight Watchers also introduces exclusive fitness content, including programming from The LIFTED Method by Holly Rilinger. This fitness initiative supports members at various stages of their weight-loss journeys, helping them to incorporate movement into their daily routines.
Flexible Support Tailored to Individual Needs
Recognizing that each member’s journey is unique, the platform offers flexible Modes that cater to different phases of weight management. Initial modes include All In Mode for those seeking a structured approach, Lose Mode for gradual progress, and Maintain Mode to help users preserve their results over time.
Dr. Kim Boyd, Chief Medical Officer at Weight Watchers, emphasized the importance of personalized guidance in achieving better health outcomes. “Today’s weight health journey requires more than a single tool — it requires clear insight, personalized guidance, and support that adapts as people’s needs change,” he stated.
Weight Watchers also focuses on enhancing community support, which has been a cornerstone of its service for over 60 years. Members can connect with experienced Coaches and participate in small, Coach-led groups that address specific challenges, such as managing GLP-1 side effects or maintaining consistency during busy periods. These communities foster a sense of belonging and accountability, helping members stay motivated.
The updated branding reflects Weight Watchers’ evolution in the health landscape, with a new logo and design elements that convey stability and trust. The brand aims to resonate with members’ personal journeys, celebrating their progress and individual experiences.
The integrated platform will be available in Australia and New Zealand starting in early January 2026. Weight Watchers continues to leverage its extensive experience in science-backed weight management, providing members with the support they need to achieve and maintain their health goals.
