$10,000 Investment in IOO ETF Surges to $12,739.38 in One Year!

UPDATE: A year ago, an investment of $10,000 in the iShares Global 100 AUD ETF (ASX: IOO) has skyrocketed to an impressive $12,739.38 as of today. This remarkable growth of 29.45% underscores the ETF’s strong performance amidst a booming market for global equities.

As of Tuesday, IOO closed at $190.14, reflecting a slight decline of 0.25% for the day but showing a robust increase over the past year. The ETF provides exposure to the largest companies worldwide, predominantly from the United States, which constitutes a staggering 80% of its holdings.

The investment landscape has shifted dramatically in the last year, with IOO benefitting from the phenomenal returns of US shares. The ETF tracks the S&P Global 100 Index and has delivered an annual average return of 7.17% since its inception in December 2000, while its three-year average annual return stands at an impressive 28%.
