UPDATE: A 37-year-old man has been denied bail following his arrest for alleged domestic violence offenses in North Albury early this morning. Authorities confirm that Murray River Police District officers apprehended the suspect at a residence on Bateman Place around 3 a.m. on December 31, 2025.
The arrest was executed in accordance with an outstanding warrant, as detailed by NSW Police. Officers charged the man with multiple offenses, including possession of housebreaking implements, breaching an AVO (Apprehended Violence Order), and stalking with the intent to intimidate and instill fear of physical harm.
Officials report that the suspect was taken to Albury Police Station, where the warrant was executed. Following his charges, he was refused bail and is set to appear before Albury Local Court on January 13, 2026.
